Hi - total noob here, just getting started, but I have in hand a SEX kit, as well as a Foreplay and a Paramount kit (and am going to build them in that order). I was going to send all the plates out together, as well as the transformer bell caps, for triple chroming, and was wondering if that is OK from a grounding/safety perspective? Thanks in advance - I'm sure I will barrage y'all with many questions even dumber than this, but it is a great feeling to be joining a community where beginners are welcome. Thanks to all! - Bob D.

Neuronal,

Good, proper use of the Southern second person plural.  So many don't do well.  (Born and bred Southerner here)

Am I mistaken? I have been assured that the second person plural is "all y'all" while "y'all" is (or at least can be) singular. Perhaps my informant was kidding me and I missed it!  :^)

LOL!  That's the way I've always heard it, too!  And, I got this from people who can devastate with a single "Bless his heart", so I reckon it's pretty accurate!

Paul,

A Southerner doesn't call a single person y'all.

At least in my lifetime, in Atlanta, I only remember that from TV and movies.

Where y'all, JC and Paul, from?

Oh, I'm a Seattle boy except for a couple years in New Jersey as a kid and Greece in my twenties. I have distant relatives in Alabama, only visited once some 40 years ago, and a grandmother who grew up in Galveston. Her mother, my great-grandma, taught me that crabs should swim three times - once in salt water, once in boiling water, and once in beer.  :^)

I like your great-grandma's recipe.  Shows a good life philosophy too!
