Hi I am new to this so here we go. I got this amp at a estate sale had it bench tested at a stereo repair shop works fine. couple of questions.  I don't have a grounded circuit in my house. the plug two prong do i have to ground the case ? 2 can I use my Ipod and what input should I use.
i have not turned it on since bench test may clean pots first. Altec 353a
Thanks fuzzypdx

I can't give you advice about the grounding problem since I have no experience with houses without a grounded circuit. I presume that back when Altec made the amp, lack of grounds in US houses was common.

I found a photo of the amp that showed the selector knob and I would use the radio as input.
