Some of you may have dealt with Tony Glynn in years past. Tony was the first US representative for Lowther speakers and was largely responsible for their comeback during the high efficiency single driver craze of the 90s. Tony has passed on after a great run, at the age of 86.

Tony was a lovable character with an affinity for "uptown" jazz, good cocktails, fine pipe tobacco, the pedal steel guitar, model ship building and his beloved Lowther drivers. He was also a great supporter of others in the industry - in fact I recently reacquired from Tony the very first kit we sold, which he purchased from us in 1995. I am now fondly reflecting upon times spent hanging out with some of the most interesting and eccentric audio types I have ever met in Tony's basement listening room/cocktail lounge.

Vale, Tony.

Tony was a really sweet guy. Glad I got to know him.

Rest In Peace, Tony. I didn't know you but it sounds like you had some great friends and lived a good life.
