I preordered my Kaiju 11/27.  I was under the impression that these would ship in 4-8 weeks based on the product page, but now I think I may be mistaken and that 4-8 weeks refers to the time it becomes an actual released product.  I have missed what preorder means, what is the shipping schedule for Kaiju?

Thanks,
Ed

Preordering a Kaiju on 9/27 was not possible. We began taking pre-orders for Kaiju on Black Friday, November 27th. We are still looking at a time frame of up to about 8 weeks from that date before we begin shipping.

I have been given so many wrong estimates that I have no reason to believe the current estimates I have are true. It should be soon, but I've thought that so many times in this process that I don't really like to say what soon might mean.

We are hoping to see the parts we need by the end of next week. But as Josh says we don't control that, so it's hard to give a definite date.

Drat the luck!
Shipped as of 3/22/16 ordered mine 3/23/16. More time to drool I guess.

In the beginning there was nothing, then it blew up!

Welcome back to the present.

Kits take 3-6 weeks to ship under normal circumstances (i.e. Kaiju is no longer on pre-order status, so it follows that principle).

Hmm, this gives me an idea - if we came out with a time machine kit you guys could build it first, then order an amp kit, and then jump forward 4 weeks.

Ooh, and if you make a mistake in the build you could just go back before you did and correct the mistake before it happens (happened?).

I can't really think of many other practical uses for a time machine, but this might make it all worth it. I googled, and it has been done before with vacuum tubes...
