I've known about this 45 for years but have only come across one on ebay, where I was outbid. Anybody happen to have one they might be willing to part with?

A couple of years ago, on one of the various "cable" channels, there was an interesting show about the Reggae Culture in Jamaica, and this showed a number of  very active small  "cottage industry" vinyl-pressing factories.  These produced only  45s,  as I didn't see any LP albums. Everything was definitely "low tech" and there was quite a bit of ingenious "backyard engineering" involved in the process.

They even practiced a bit of " being green", in that they would recycle and  melt down old  and damaged records and re-use the melted vinyl  goop for pressing new ones.

So there is a good chance that most of the 45 year old "Bottle Head in Fine Style" 45s have been "reincarnated" one or more times.

I would ask the guys on the Trojan Records website about this record. They are very helpful. If it is rare and findable they can help you.
