I am buying the Crack Special Edition (w/ power transformer from the SEX amp) second hand. I thin there were only a few made and tt uses the JJ ECC99 driver and I think 5998 output tube.  I understand the standard Crack amp is for use w/ High impedance headphones.  Does anyone know if this AMP is OK w/ Low impedance cans?

It's intended for the same usage, high impedance headphones.

Thanks Doc B.  Can't wait to hear the HD600 and HD800S.

Are there any other Driver tubes that can roll in place of the ECC99?  Or maybe nothing will sound better

Those are specifically made for the ECC99, and should really only be used with that tube.
