Hi there,

I searched the forum, and didn't see questions along these lines, so I thought I'd post a question that seems to come up a lot with BH kits.  Would there be benefit to substituting chokes for one or more of the 120Ohm resistors in the Kaiju power supply?

That it's not been asked makes me wonder if there's an obvious reason.  I'm not planning to do it; mainly asking for my own edification (so please, be gentle ;).

thanks,

David

There's plate chokes, shunt regulated and actively loaded drivers, and, with the upcoming upgrade, a DC filament supply. That's an awful lot of isolation from the power supply filter. Chokes in the PS would not have much effect. Well, they might dull the transients a little if that is what you're looking for.
