Hi!

My first post here, starting off with a question, perhaps a stupid question. I searched the forums and couldn't find any mention of my specific query.

I'm UK based and unfortunately "the 240V Crack is temporarily unavailable" so I am looking to purchase the required stepdown transformer "rated for 100VA minimum". I saw on threads relating to other products that a that a simple 240V - 120V stepdown rathed for 100VA / 100 watts would be fine.

To clarify, for the crack + speedball to be used in the UK, would I need to purchase a 240V to 120V stepdown (100 watts)? Or more than 100 watts (as it was mentioned 100VA minimum was needed)?.

Thanks in advance for the help. Very excited to receive the kit.

P.S. Doc, if you see this - I emailed you (only yesterday) about a failed download for the crack manual, which I couldn't re-download. Would be grateful if you could help me got hold of that so I can start reading through it in preparation.

 :)

A 100VA step-down transformer is more than adequate for the Crack.  Do not use anything significantly larger, I would say no more than 200VA.
