When soldering components to my Speedball boards, I found all large holes were soldered thru and OK (i.e. solder flowed to the other side of the board, which is desired, I believe). However, for almost half of the tiny holes, the solder just couldn't flow to the other side of the board even though I re-soldered them 2 or 3 times. I think the gaps between the leads and these tiny holes are just too small to let the solder thru, right?
Then I checked the Speedball PC boards. It seemed only the bottom side of the PC board has circuits printed on it, and the top side only has some labels and no printed circuits.
So are these Speedball PC boards one-sided or two-sided?
And if they're one-sided, then I should have NO problems with half of the small holes that were not soldered thru, am I right?
Really appreciate it if someone could help!
PS: I am using some 62/36/02 (tin/lead/silver) rosin core solder, which flowed pretty well when I worked on the Crack.
