Just saw the SEX 3.0

Tempted but it doesn't look like a huge difference from a fully upgraded 2.  I have MANY stereos and I've said this before I think it's possible that my SEX amp sounds better than all of them.  Love the sound of it.  Most smooth, detailed amp I own.  I use it at work with a Linux Computer running Clementine and a Fiio E07K USB DAC and the old famous cheap Insignia speakers all the rage about 10 years ago.

It doesn't sound like much but it'll make your jaw drop.

SEX amp always has been and always will be a winner.

Thats good to hear! I intend to use the sex with speakers only in my tiny apartment.

I don't know how everybody handles the wait. It is probably another 6 weeks before the Sex 3.0 gets shipped out.

I was lucky with my bottlehead Crack purchase since I bought an unopened crack and speedball from another member on headfi. I am holding off on installing the speedball until the sex arrives to see how it compares with the crack.

The trick is to have more projects. I am always waiting for parts for something - audio parts, motorcycle parts, car parts, etc.

Maybe build yourself a set of nice inexpensive speaker cables in the meantime? There are some neat DIY designs that use CAT5 cable.

Lol, I was actually looking at building a new power cord for the crack. I guess I will look into making speaker cables too!

Any idea how long until the upgrade kit becomes available? I've read with the previous kits that the upgrade was almost mandatory because it improved it so much.
