Output Cap question - 1 vs 2 vs 3

Hi all,

First post.   Go gentle please.   ;)

Concerning output capacitor upgrades, what benefits or degradations could happen in the following:

Instead of putting one big 100uF 250V (like the Dayton) film cap in place of the stock output caps, would be be feasible to parallel two 50uF or even three 33uF film caps on each side?      It might be easier to fit (and possibly cheaper).   Or not?

Just a thought.  Didn't know if it would change any other values of the circuit doing so, and thought I'd ask.

Sure, you can parallel caps to get to 100uF.  It's tough to say whether that will make fitting the caps in any easier!
