Problems attaching heatsink to High Current C4S Board
on:

I'm having a bit of trouble attaching the two heat sinks to one of my High Current C4S Boards. I understand it's suppose to snap in place. The other one was fine but this one just won't go in even with a good amount of force. Any tips to get it in?

I find that it's easier to set the heatsink on a countertop, then press the PC board into it.
If all else fails, the through plating on those holes isn't critical for the boards to function, so you could use a small round file to enlarge the holes.
