I was thinking "that is not enough parts for a Smash."  Then realized it is the Smash-up. 

Looks like a fun weekend!

Couldn't wait till Saturday, relatives coming down so got started.  Boards done and working on the Smash rewire.  Found a typo on the SmashUp directions, page 20 fourth step.  The instructions have you connect both the red and black wire to terminal 5 while the picture next to it has red to terminal 5 and black to terminal 4.

Saw the same error just completed mine. Glad I saw the photo and went that direction. Loving the upgrade so far.

Wow! I am  a"visual" person. I did not notice "5 Red...5 Red" in the instructions.  I just read the instructions, looked at the picture and proceeded.  Had to go back, just now, and look at the text you described. That is what is so great about BH manuals!! Pictures Rule!! Loving the SmashUp!

All done.  Voltages in spec. I may take out my attenuators, it seems quieter and clearer than before.  I'm going to make up a power cord tomorrow and leave it be for awhile but I do want the attenuator upgrade.

Still breaking in and adjusting, had to change the fixed output of my Dac to variable to get more turns use of the Smash volume pot.  I've picked up a digital hash, a psssh sound ever 20 seconds or so in one channel.  Will rearrange cables and try to move things around tomorrow if the SB is a blow out.  Hopefully that'll clear it up.  New BH power cord added to the mix.  I don't know if it adds anything audible, but I like it a lot more than the thin standard power cable.
I wish the RCA's were spaced out a little more, can't use right angle cables so cables are a mess into and out of the Smash.
