Hello! I just finished building my Crack. Resistance readings were all correct, but the voltages are way low. I'm getting 120V from the wall and wired the Transformer accordingly (getting 6.3 and 178V). Both LEDs light up when started, but turn off after a few seconds. On the Voltage check I'm getting the following:

1. 17V
2. 47V
3. 0V
4. 47V
5. 17V

6. 0V
7. 15V
8. 0V
9. 15
10. 0V

Please help!

Also, I noticed that a 270 Ohm resistor is getting so hot that it's melting the solder on T14 and T15, such as that the standing cap can be moved with no effort.

It looks like your output caps (both) are installed backwards. Take a look at your manual, the white bands on the caps should be facing outwards.

You're absolutely right! I'll go ahead and reinstall them. Thank you!!!

Switched the output caps orientation and problem solved!!! Voltages are now just right.

Thank you, Mucker!
