...I'm going to catch up with whoever designed, then standardized all the sub-components of this type and size and change his singing voice!

The worst are the cheap Chinese ones from eBay that disintegrate when you try to solder them. I chucked a bag of them in the bin out of frustration.

got it.. that does sound pretty hard :-p I think that was the hardest part about the Quickie, soldering in the potentiometer. It would be fun to upgrade the pot, maybe by going with a submissive to take the easy way out lol
