Screwed up paint on my Chokes, repainting

Is there anything I can use to remove the paint without destroying the choke, I see that mfg of the choke used a sort of adhesive on the can so it looks like it'll be impossible to remove the can from the choke itself.

Just sand the paint smooth on the channel frame (I presume that is what you are calling the can) and repaint it.

I would add that using any solvents to remove paint on the chokes will be risky, as the solvent may permeate what holds the choke together and damage it.
