Hello. I'm getting some static noise in my right ear. It comes and goes but sometimes can last for several minutes. What's the cause of this?

If the amplifier is otherwise operating properly, this could be caused by a cold solder joint, a nearby appliance (cell phone, wifi router, computer, etc), or a tube that needs some run in time.
