Resoldered to no luck. Switched the tubes to some luck. Switched the tubes and it works perfect. Switched the tubes again and it works perfect  ;D

This suggests poor solder joints on the sockets or on the other end of anything soldered to each socket.

So just resolder A1-A9 and anywhere they lead to?

Resoldered all of those. Made sure there was no cold soldering and that there is a healthy amount of solder on the wires. Everything felt sturdy and solid after resoldering. Plugged the preamp in and only got the LED for A3 to light up. Switched the tubes and now both LEDs are lit but are continuously flickering. I guess just keep messing with A1-A9 and anywhere they lead until it works?

You can also send it in for repair and we will fix the joints for you.

Will try my hardest to fix it, but having no experience I'll probably end up biting the bullet and sending it in for repair. Thank you for all your help!
