My C2A arrived last Friday. Haven't had time to do much but as you can see I did paint the chasis and just finished glueing the base. The chasis is finished with Hammered Copper. Think it turned out well. I'll probably finish the base with Tried and True as many have suggested - just leaving it natural. This is litterally the only part of the project I'm comfortable with.  ;D On to the exciting part once the chasis has cured.

Color looks nice. If you used Rustoleum hammered finish let it cure for at least a week before you start the build. The problem is that if you use the base as a build fixture it will leave lines on the painted surface until it cures fully. I generally wait a week then build on a towel.
Use the wait time to read and re read the instructions.

Yes, that is the finished I used. I plan on waiting a couple of weeks before starting so hopefully I'll be good. Thanks!
