Crazy? I'm sorry. This is probably an impossible ask, but I'm a S.E.X. addict and hope someone here will be able to help.
I've been down the rabbit hole for too many hours this weekend on capacitors and I give up.
I'm heading to LA this weekend to visit a friend and I told him I'd make crossovers for him. I need six 1uF capacitors. He can't afford $100 + shipping worth of capacitors. I have some Cornell Dubilier - CDE capacitors coming from Mouser on time -- if they ship on time -- who knows.
These just have to be decent capacitors that will do the job.
Why 1uF. Don't ask. Spec'd with the tweeters he's getting.
I'd drive to a shop in LA if there were one. Might be able to get to a shop in the SF Bay area before I go, if that makes a difference (I so miss Al Lasher's -- 10 min away -- they'd save me).
Or something from Mouser or DigiKey?
