I setup the Hypex Nilai for low gain, 12 dB. It can be setup with low, medium or high gain (12, 22, or 28 dB). I also have a 3dB pad built into my Moreplay. So my system has relatively low overall gain which gives the Moreplay plenty of volume knob range. I can turn volume up to about 50% and achieve quite loud but still comfortable listening levels.

Great info! Thanks.

At Euros 1500 for a kit and 250 x 2 Watts I think I'll pass.

I paid $1459 for the Hypex Nilai. Yeah, not cheap, but for the money, it is a very nice sounding amp. It may be one of the best sounding Class D amps currently available.
