Seems lately I've got all kinds of time on my hands and plenty of projects going. I try not to spend to much time with one before coming up with another. Keeps my creative juices flowing.... lol. After way to long I think I can actually see a light at the end of the tunnel, as it were, to get my BassZilla open baffle speakers finished. The bass cabs have been sitting in my garage for a couple months, conservatively speaking. I've been putting off finishing them due to a lengthy ordering process for the new tweeter I'm planning on using. I upgraded the ribbon tweet to an Aurum Cantu G2 with the round housing. That took about 50 emails to get done along with 5 months of waiting for Parts-Express to special order them. BTW, without Bev @ Parts-Express this would not have happened. My cap is off too them and I couldn't recommend them more highly. She is right up there with Eileen, just down to earth good people. So what's the question you say, I'd like some suggestions on bi-amping these speakers. A separate pair of mono-blocks just to handle the low end perhaps. The 15" Definimax driver is passively crossed at 250 hz and the bass cab it tuned to 38 hz. I'm currently using a pair of Paramont 300B's and an Extended Foreplay 3 to amplify all drivers. I want to dedicate an appropriate pair of mono-blocks or perhaps stereo amp to just the bass drivers. Simple enough right ? Suggestions are welcome. For now the passive crossover will be retained but am eventually looking too an active tube based electronic crossover. Yet another project, I'm going to need a bigger work area! As always this forum is a great resource and your insight is appreciated.

John
