When my wife discovered that I had made her snoring notorious on this forum she was ready to pack up my Crack and ask for an RMA. Fortunately I am out of the doghouse for a little while. I have burned in the tubes for over 200 hours and I must admit the Crack more than exceeds any expectations I had about it. I ordered the Speedball upgrade and I CANNOT imagine it will make that much difference over what I am hearing at this moment. I guess I'll find out soon enough. My six year old HD650 cans sound brand new.

Again I want to thank those of you who got me here, including my wife. Of course now she is p*ssed that I don't answer when she calls me from downstairs. Maybe it is because, "I CAN'T HEAR HER." However the bright side is that the Crack was my birthday gift from her. Catch-22 I'd say. Heh heh!

Hey Mike - it sounds like you have her well trained! Its not easy being an audiophiles wife - "Why does that subwoofer have to be RIGHT THERE?", "How much did you pay for those cables?" etc.

Good to hear you are digging the Crack - love them tubes.
