Hi everyone,

Building my first crack and being the total noob I am I'm not sure if I have kissed something. I have read the instructions multiple times and it seems I have done it correct but after the building  phase I still have one #6 round lockwasher left.  I think the instruction only uses one or have I missed something.

I also have the phillips self tapping screw left.

Can you please confirm that I should have those left or have I missed something.

Thanks for your help.

The self tapping screw is just for tapping the terminal strip mounting holes for the 2 strips that flank the transformer.  So yes, it should be left over.   I'm pretty sure that you only use one #6 lockwasher on the 9 pin socket mounting hole that doesnt also hold the terminal.

You're good, nothing missed.

Thanks for your reply. I'm going to start soldering now then. Can't wait to hear the finished product!  Looking forward to hearing it tonight.

Ending up with one extra lockwasher may just mean that one extra one was packed (they tend to stick together a bit).
