So I'm finally building my second kit: stereomour.  And once again I'm loving the whole process.  This time I powder coated the face plate.  Got some black fiber washers today for the RCA jacks that totally blend in to the black powder coating instead of the white washers.  This time I mounted the RCA jacks so the top nuts all are lined up.  My two circuit boards are turning out very nice.  I'm using rubber bands to hold components in place when I flip the boards over to solder so all pieces are staying nicely lined up and in place.  After completing my first project (s.e.x.) I'm building with more confidence and equal enjoyment.  Actually probably more fun because i know a tiny bit more of what I'm doing. I'm also obviously looking forward to listening to it when completed, especially since I liked the s.e.x sound so much !!  Anyone sitting on the fence about trying this should get over their hesitation and do it.  I love the finished product as much as the constructing process.
