I just want to be sure is it safe to use the 6SN7 in the SEX 2.0 and 2.1 without changing anything?

Thanks!

You'll need 6SN7GTB's, and to be OK with them not providing their otherwise expected lifetime of service.

They need to be GTB tubes though as they are rated for 400v.

And they can take 5 watts on one plate - original 6SN7s are rated 2.5 watts maximum.

I've tried a few well used 6SN7GTB tubes in the SEX 2.1.  As cautioned before, the amp runs the tubes harder than usual for a 6SN7.  It has revealed a few tubes to be noisy (or perhaps it contributed to the issue).
