I wonder if anyone can say how the Submissive sounds compared to the Quickie?

I have both, Quickie/Quicksand, want to build the Submissive.

So, curiously, How does it sound?

And, source inputs;
I have a Hagerman Bugle Phono with 40b gain, will there be enough gain?

And I assume,a CD has plenty of output gain, so not a problem?

Any and all comments are most appreciated, thank you,

Bare

You could use all three together!

  The Submissive would go in the middle ie; after the pre-before the amp?

It would go in front the of the Quickie. You could just turn the volume up all the way on the Quickie to effectively turn it into a fixed resistor. Then the Submissive becomes the volume control. A lot better sounding volume control.

If you do decide to build the submissive, please share the results of your system with the submissive vs. without!
