Balance Knob Question

Hi. I just completed a Crackatwoa without the Stepped Attenuator. Will be upgrading it later once I give it a go. How do I set up the balance so it's equally balanced in my left and right ear?

You can check balance by ear. What I do is play "Tom's Diner (A Cappella)" by Suzanne Vega. The song has a strong central image, good for making L/R adjustments. Or you can play imaging test tones, which you can fine here:
