Balance Knob Question
« on: May 12, 2018, 08:46:05 AM »
Hi. I just completed a Crackatwoa without the Stepped Attenuator. Will be upgrading it later once I give it a go. How do I set up the balance so it's equally balanced in my left and right ear?

You can check balance by ear. What I do is play "Tom's Diner (A Cappella)" by Suzanne Vega. The song has a strong central image, good for making L/R adjustments. Or you can play imaging test tones, which you can fine here: https://www.audiocheck.net/audiotests_index.php

Thanks Raymond! I did end up balancing it out by ear. I'll check those out for sure. Thanks.
